We are now ISO 27001 Certified

We are proud to announce that in May 2021 The Care Database achieved certification for ISO 27001.

What is ISO 27001?

ISO 27001:2013 is the ISO standard for Information Security. It covers establishing, executing, upholding and constantly refining an Information Security Management System (ISMS) for an organisation, and evaluating and managing information security risks.

ISO 27001 is the gold standard for Information Security and is recognised worldwide.

Security is extremely important toThe Care Database because we supply and host software containing sensitive information for our clients. The Care Database is cloud-based and ensuring it is secure is extremely important.

What does this mean for The Care Database?

Just because we are now certified does not mean that we will stop working to continuously improve our ISMS. We will be audited on an annual basis to ensure we are following the ISO 27001 principles. We will still be regularly reviewing our policies and procedures to continue our quest for continuous improvement.
