The Care Database began life as a small, custom-built care management system at Shooting Star Hospices back in the year 2000.

In the years that followed, the system went from strength to strength and in 2015 we undertook a major redevelopment project.  The main focus was to be able to access the system remotely on any device with an internet connection.

We listen to feedback from Shooting Star and other hospice users and have continued to build on the strengths of The Care Database and our customers are realising the benefits of using the system:
